Description

Strengthen your confidence in conducting Learning Media Assessments (LMAs) during this interactive two-day workshop designed for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments (TSVIs). Gain a deeper understanding of the purpose and components of the LMA, learn effective strategies for administering the assessment, and explore how to collect meaningful, objective data that informs instructional and literacy decisions.

Through hands-on activities, case studies, and collaborative discussions, participants will examine ways to adapt the assessment process for students with diverse learning needs, including those with additional disabilities and complex learning profiles. Leave with practical tools and strategies to conduct high-quality LMAs that support data-driven educational decisions and meaningful outcomes for students with visual impairments.
